The Black Ferns have beaten England 28-9 in the third Test to
complete a 3-0 series cleansweep at Pukekohe today.
The Black Ferns scored two tries in each half, and built a
commanding 17-3 lead at halftime through tries to Claire Richardson
and Aroha Savage.
Star winger Selica Winiata scored a dazzling try in the second
half for New Zealand before Kendra Cocksedge rounded things off as
the hooter sounded to record an emphatic victory.
The Black Ferns came came into the series not having beaten
England in six matches since winning the 2010 World Cup final and
will now look ahead to next year’s World Cup in France with some
confidence.
