Virtual reality headset recreates England rugby squad training experience


Released to coincide with the 2014 RBS 6 Nations, Wear the Rose is a prototype

experience that may well pave the way for future sports action and sports

video games in the future.





Further details on ‘Wear the Rose’ from O2 will be released later this month,

including where it will be possible to experience the technology first hand.



Developed by Californian student Palmer Luckey, the Oculus

Rift virtual reality headset
is expected to be made available for

consumers later this year.



Space dog fighting video game EVE: Valkyrie has been announced as an Oculus

Rift exclusive launch game, although the release date remains unconfirmed.
