France star Louis Picamoles dropped for Six Nations battle against Scotland

“Respect is the foundation of our values. It is important to send a signal to all players who have the privilege of wearing the jersey and remind them it imposes duties and obligations,” said Saint-Andre.

The French will also be without outstanding centre Wesley Fofana for the remainder of the championship after he cracked a rib in the Cardiff defeat. It ends a run of 24 successive Test starts for Fofana.

France have called Castres centre Remi Lamerat into their squad as a replacement, with clubmate Antonie Claassen brought into strengthen the depleted back-row resources.

Clermont scrum-half Morgan Parra is back in the squad for the first time in the championship after a knee injury but his participation in Scotland will rest on the outcome of a disciplinary hearing after his dismissal for a head butt in a Top 14 game on Saturday.
