Rugby legend Lawrence Dallaglio pedalled into Wolseley UKâs head office in Leamington as part of the 2014 Dallaglio Cycle Slam.
Mr Dallaglio along with some of his ex-England teamates: Austin Healey, Martin Johnson and Martin Corry, along with 60 other cyclists stopped in for lunch on day 18 of their charity cycle ride.
The route, which started in Loughbrough and finishes in Bicester, will total a massive 2320.9km of cycling completed, but Mr Dallaglio didnât seem too exhausted. He said: âItâs been an amazing experience. Iâm so grateful to everyone who has helped support the Dallaglio Cycle Slam.â
Lee Newman, director, Wolseley UK, said: âIt was a pleasure to host Lawrence and his team of cyclists. They clocked up some serious miles during their 25 day ride and Iâm in awe of what they manage to achieve in the name of charity. Our employees also relished the chance to spend time with him and meet a true sporting great.â
The Dallaglio Cycle Slam is a charity that allows 300 riders to tackle some of the most challenging routes in Europe.
