IAN Gough, the Wales rugby international, is due before a court today charged with assaulting former Miss Wales Sophia Cahill at the home of her pop star fiancee Dane Bowers.
The 37-year-old was charged in January of assaulting Ms Cahill at a house in Kingswood Way, South Croydon.
Gough has 64 international caps and plays for London Irish, although he is set to rejoin the Dragons.
He has appeared at Croydon Magistrates’ Court where he has denied assault by beating.
