Team England have succumbed to a 15-7 defeat to Australia in the Rugby Sevens at the Commonwealth Games.

The Three Lions took the lead in the first half as Marcus Watson displayed individual brilliance as he chased his own kick to score a try, while Tom Mitchell added the conversion.

Just before the break, Australia managed to peg England back with a try as Cameron Clark powered over the line near the sideline.

In the second half, England’s Dan Norton was sin binned and that allowed Australia to take the lead as Sean McMahon went over the line for a score, and they secured the win as Jesse Parahi scored late on.
