#StayStrongForOws – that is the message from Bath Rugby’s players as they spell out their support for Wales centre Owen Williams following his “significant” back injury.

The Bath squad – including fellow Welsh international Gavin Henson – were pictured holding up letters to spell out the message which is being used on Twitter by the rugby community to show their support for the stricken Cardiff Blues player.

It comes a day after Bath Rugby used their official Twitter feed to tweet a message to Williams, who fractured his cervical vertebrae and spinal cord during a World Club 10s match against Asia Pacific Dragons in Singapore.

He sustained the injury after landing heavily on his head and underwent surgery on Monday.
