âThe way we play is similar to New Zealand teams, I guess, but we have not set
out to copy anyone, but just do what suits us best. We do not throw it about
willy-nilly but we do aim to play with high tempo.
âWeâre not going to sit back against South Africa. That weâve been able to
play like this in New
Zealand, and make an impression, has added spice to it all.
“Just like the senior side we wanted to give a really good account of
ourselves on and off the field. We want out boys to have come through the
programme as better people as much as better rugby players. I think we have
done that.
âFor me, when you see what the Under-20s have done here, what the midweek side
did to the Crusaders on Tuesday night, how Stuart Lancaster’s side have run
the All Blacks close, I think English rugby is in a really good place.â
