Robshaw said: “We got too pumped up too early in the week of the Wales match. That took it out of us and we have to control it this week.
“You need to train hard and be focused, have the intensity when you need it, but you also have to stay mentally relaxed.
“As players we have to keep our cool, though I’ve no doubt we will be revved up on Saturday.
“Everyone knows the best team in the world is coming to Twickenham, our home, which we want to defend well.â€
England are likely to be unchanged from the side that beat Argentina last week, except prop Dan Cole comes back in for David Wilson.
