Inside Rugby League

The League One football club sounded out Wigan Athletic over their experiences of pitch sharing.

And they are understood to have been given positive feedback.

Cash-strapped Broncos last week announced a bid to go into administration in an effort to secure their future.

Their problems will be part of the agenda when Super League clubs resume talks next week.

The game was in crisis in October when Wigan chairman Ian Lenagan led a mutiny against the RFL over restructuring plans.

It was thought that Super League would be cut to 12 teams at the end of 2014, with the bottom two clubs dropping out.

But that is now in question, along with the whole issue of promotion and relegation.
