But despite the off-field traumas, Crabtree says England are getting it right on the pitch.
He said: “We came so close to reaching the final. England were the better team in the semi-Âfinal but New Zealand won it with two wonder tries.
“That is what will make them so dangerous in the final.
“On the other hand, ÂAustralia have been Âabsolutely ruthless and haven’t conceded a try for four games.
“Because of that I think Australia have to be Âfavourites to win.â€
