England take on Argentina at Twickenham
England second row forward Courtney Lawes knows Stuart Lancaster’s men can play much better than their 20-13 victory over Australia.
Second-half tries from Chris Robshaw and Owen Farrell helped see off the Wallabies, although the Northampton Saints ace knows there is plenty of room for improvement.
Next up for England at Twickenham is Argentina, who come to the country on the back of failing to win any of their recent games against the likes of Australia, New Zealand and South Africa in this year’s Championship.

Lawes accepts England’s showing was not quite up to scratch and he is hoping everything clicks into place in Saturday’s second QBE International.
“We didn’t play very well, we know that, which means we’ve got to go out there and show everybody what we can do and what a good team we are,” Lawes told Sky Sports.
“Hopefully, weather and all the other factors permitting, we’ll be able to go out there and put on a good performance.”
Physical pack
Argentina will pose a very different challenge to England and Lawes insists the hosts will need to retain posession better if they are to topple the southern hemisphere side.
“They are big, especially the pack, a big physical pack. They’ll be strong in the scrum. Mauling, we’ll have to work that out and also around the ruck area they are going to be dangerous,” he continued.
“They are spicy and they like to do things differently so we’ll see what happens.”

Argentina are a side on the ropes after a disappointing Rugby Championship. They have a new head coach in the shape of Daniel Hourcade, while they recently lost captain Juan Martin Fernandez Lobbe to injury.
“We’ll get together and say what we have to say,” said Bath’s Horacio Agulla. “I think they best way is to look forward and keep trying to play our best and be the best team we can.
“We have to perform. We’re representing our families, our friends, our clubs back home and our country. That’s the pressure we have. We need to perform the best we can. After that we’ll see what happens.”
