Rob Burrow has recovered from a head knock he sustained in the win against
Fiji but will have further tests to confirm whether he is fit to face France
in Wigan on Saturday night. Ben Westwood, the second row, is also cleared to
play after escaping punishment for a challenge on Fijiâs Tariq Sims which
was put on report.
McNamara said: âWe are pretty healthy but there are a few things to work out
regarding selection.
âWe didnât know our opposition until last night and we have to work out which
players best suit the opposition. The 17 selected this week will not
necessarily be the 17 in the semi-final if we get through.â
World Cup quarter-finals: Friday New Zealand v Scotland (Headingley,
8pm). Saturday Australia v USA (Wrexham, 1pm), England v France (Wigan,
8pm). Sunday Samoa v Fiji (Warrington, 3pm).
