A new smash-hit rugby league play, Playing The Joker, is coming to the north stand restaurant at Hull KR‘s KC Lightstream Stadium on Friday, May 9, at 7.30pm.
Written by author and Sunday Mirror sports journalist Anthony Clavane, it is a play about legendary commentator Eddie Waring’s attempt to give rugby league a national profile.
Through song, dance, jokes and drama, it follows a young rugby league fan’s quest to meet Eddie and put some home truths to his hero.
Tickets cost £10 and are now on sale. Call the Rovers Retail shop in Savile Street on 01482 222072 or buy via the Rovers ticket site.
Tickets are also available to purchase from the north stand reception at the KC Lightstream Stadium on 0844 2490105, which is open Monday to Friday, from 9am to 5pm.
