Former England rugby star Paul Sackey was arrested after allegedly fighting outside a nightclub.
Sackey, 34, and another man were held on suspicion of affray and questioned at a police station. They have been released and bailed to re-appear late next month.
Onlookers said the fight broke out when door staff challenged friends of Sackey about their ages.
The Metropolitan Police said they were called to reports of a fight in King’s Road, Chelsea.
A force spokesman said: “Two people were arrested on suspicion of affray and taken to a South London police station.â€
Harlequins winger Sackey played in the 2007 World Cup final defeat to South Africa. He scored four tries in the tournament.
