Peter O’Mahony, Andrew Trimble and Devin Toner have been announced as the nominees for the 2014 Irish Rugby Union Players Association Player of the Year award, which will be voted for by their fellow professionals.
All three played key roles as Ireland won the Six Nations title last month.
Meanwhile, Leinster’s Jack McGrath and Jordi Murphy join last season’s winner Robbie Henshaw as the three players short-listed for the Young Player of the Year award.
