THE Scarlets have unveiled their new kit ahead of the region’s first friendly of the summer, against Exeter in Llanelli on Saturday.
They say the strip for the 2013-14 campaign links to their values and heritage.

The home shirt retains its deep Scarlet red with touches of white while the away kit alludes to the Scarlets’ traditions and respects the region’s 140 years of rugby, returning to a dark blue â the first colour worn by Llanelli.
Both home and away shirts incorporate elements of the wings of the dragon while the players’ shirt has a raised rubber gel gripper print that represents the dragon’s scales and offers additional grip when the ball is cushioned to the body.
Scarlets head coach Simon Easterby said: “Everyone is proud to pull on the Scarlets jersey and it’s important to us as coaches and players that the shirt represents who we are as well as being the very best in terms of its durability.”
South African lock Joe Snyman said: “Whether you play one game for the Scarlets or 300 you’ll always be remembered as a Scarlet. It’s more than a game, it’s the community, the jersey and the badge that you play for.”
