Widnes hit straight back two minutes later when Patrick Ah Van supplied Cameron Phelps, but Briscoe slid over to put Hull back in front.
Vikingsâ captain Brown scored a converted try to make it 10-10 but Hull hit back with three quick tries from Kirk Yeaman and Shaul (twice) to establish an 18-point half-time lead.
Danny Tickle made it 30-10 to Hull after the break with a penalty goal and Jacob Miller added two long-range efforts for the home side. Then Briscoe raced 60 metres for his second, before Richard Whiting, Aaron Heremaia, Joe Arundel and Mark OâMeley added late scores to put the icing on the cake for Hull.
