Rugby League: Wigan 22 - Leeds 12: Sam Tomkin"s big finale

Leeds have won five of the previous six Grand Finals, but their dreams of retaining their title were shattered by second-half tries for Liam Farrell, Darrell Goulding and Josh Charnley.

The tie was a repeat of the inaugural Grand Final in 1998 – won by Wigan. Tomkins quickly began to get his hands on the ball and was the heart of a fine array of inter-passing which led to Wigan opening the scoring through Iain Thornley.

The Rhinos hit back five minutes after the break as Joel Moon went over the line from close range, but then the Warriors took control, though Liam Sutcliffe scored a late consolation try.
