Bruntcliffe School wins England rugby kit launch

The England rugby team are to unveil their new kit to the world at Bruntcliffe School after pupils won a national competition to host its launch next month.

Coach Stuart Lancaster and members of both the men’s and women’s elite player squads will be at the school to reveal the new kits in a live televised event.

Pupils Anna Wilby, Demi Nicholls, Lizzy Priestley, Lauren Griffiths, Sienna Henry-Fisher and Olivia Wake won the amazing prize after producing a video for a competition on the RFU website.

Bruntcliffe head Heather Scott said: “I’m delighted that our girls’ hard work and ingenuity creating such an eye-catching presentation has paid off, and that we will be the English school which has the honour of hosting the launch of the new England rugby kit.

“The girls entered the competition and worked incredibly hard in their spare time to come up with a fantastic entry – we just can’t wait to see the England players wearing the new strip on our stage on October 8!

“An added benefit for our students is the fact that it will be streamed live on Sky Sports, so all of our students will be able to view this unique occasion for Bruntcliffe School.”
