Clermont Auvergne and Racing Metro are also keen on the star duo, just two of several Welsh Lions who will become available in the summer. Adam Jones, Alun Wyn Jones, Ian Evans and Jonathan Davies will all be out of contract.
The Welsh Rugby Union have made an additional £1million available to the four regions in a bid to retain their stars, following an exodus across the Channel. Jamie Roberts, Dan Lydiate, Mike Phillips, James Hook, Lee Byrne, Luke Charteris and Aled Brew all play in the Top 14.
