FREDDIE BURNS is ready for a red-hot reception as England take on Argentina in
tonightâs first Test.
Gloucesterâs fly-half, 23, makes his first Red Rose start with Owen Farrell on
the Lions tour and Toby Flood rested.
England boss Stuart Lancaster has prepared his squad by showing clips of the
Pumasâ recent home games against Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.
Burns said: âIt is that gladiator thing â you and the rest of the squad
against a nation. Itâs a different type of noise over here, more hostile.
But I like to relish that atmosphere.
âI have been fortunate with England. I had that 20-minute cameo against the
All Blacks and a start against the Barbarians a couple of weeks ago.
âNow I am going into a full-blown Test match and it is nothing I am too
concerned about. I am just hugely excited.â
ENGLAND: Brown; Wade, Joseph, Twelvetrees, Strettle; Burns, Dickson;
Marler, Webber, Wilson, Launchbury, Attwood, Wood (Capt), Morgan, Kvesic.
READY FREDDIE GO ... Freddie Burns
