The Scarlets have no shortage of cricketing talent in their ranks with Shingler a former England Under-19 and Glamorgan fast bowler, his younger brother Steve a Wales age-grade cap and Aussie-born forward Jake Ball a talented young cricketer during his younger years Down Under.
The event is in aid of #TeamDan, the fundraising campaign set up to support the cancer battle of former Scarlets player Dan Rogers.
More than £5,000 has already been raised for the University of Wales Hospital, Cardiff’s intensive care and haematology units where Dan is being treated.
#TeamDan will have a side taking part in the tournament, led by Dan’s brother Steff, while hosts Dafen and local rivals Llanelli, Llangennech, Felinfoel and Kidwelly will also be competing.
The action begins at 11am, with entertainment that includes live music, a bouncy castle and barbecue taking place during the day.
