BLETCHLEY maintained top spot in the Southern Counties North with a 40-3 win at home to Royal Wootton Bassett.
It was Bassett who started the stronger of the two sides, winning early penalties at the breakdown with their positive play, and they took a 3-0 lead after 11 minutes.
This gave Bletchley the kick they needed as Will Garrett scored an unconverted try to put the home side ahead.
Garrett got his second and Kev Turnbull scored on the stroke of half time, both converted by Phil Harman, to make it 19-3 at half time.
As the second half wore on Bassett began to lose their shape and number eight Steve Allen touched the ball down to give Bletchley their bonus point try, with Harman adding the extras to put Bletchley 26-3 up.
Converted tries by Kyle Gibbings and Garrett again, rounding off his hat-trick, completed the 40-3 win.
Milton Keynes got back to winning ways with a 34-22 success at Alchester.
They had lost their two previous league games but the win keeps them fourth, eight points adrift of joint-leaders Bletchley and Aylesbury.
Olney ran out 50-12 victors at home to Rushden and Higham in Midlands Two East (South).
Try-scorers in the first half included Jack Sutton, Harrison Marshall, a Cameron Keenan double and Jon Brice as Olney raced into a 36-0 half time lead.
George Stanton scored a try with Jordan Letts adding the conversion to make it 43-0 just three minutes after the re-start, but Rushden replied with a converted try of their own to reduce their arrears to 43-7.
A converted try for Olney and a try for Rushden made it 50-12 by the end of the game.
