Cipriani, out of favour this season until last night, scored a second-half try, kicked two conversions and four penalty goals.
The former England fly-half appeared as a 22nd-minute substitute when Nick Macleod injured an elbow.
There were injuries to Saleâs Josh Beaumont and Waspsâ full-back Andrea Masi. That was after Sale had lost scrum-half Dwayne Peel and No8 Josh Gaskell in the warm-up. Cipriani also made a try for Mark Cueto. Sale were 13-3 up at half-time but Cipriani took charge after the break. He grabbed a try and converted before flanker Ashley Johnsonâs try for Wasps and Goodeâs conversion.
