Smith admitted the brickbats thrown his side’s way riled them.
He added: “You know how good the team is , so it is annoying. But we are proving all the critics wrong.â€
Smith, who will be making his second Grand Final appearance, having played against Wigan for St Helens in 2010, said: “Warrington are a top side. It’s going to be a great final.â€
