Former England rugby international Austin Healey gave pupils at a Northampton secondary school a rugby masterclass.
The former Leicester Tigers player, who won 51 caps for his country, visited Malcolm Arnold Academy, which is sponsored by the David Ross Education Trust (DRET).
Mr Healey took part in a number of rugby coaching sessions and also did a question and answer session with the pupils.
He said: âThe facilities at Malcolm Arnold Academy are amazing and I think the kids here are very lucky.
âI think sport has a big part to play in the development of kids and when you have got facilities like this on site it can only benefit them for the better.â
When asked about Northampton Saints chances this season, Mr Healey said he thought they had a strong chance of success.
He said he believed that the Premiership title would be decided between the Saints and Saracens.
