The wife of former Wales rugby international Andy Powell, who trashed the starâs car and house after their marriage broke down, has revealed she has given him another chance.
Natasha Gascoine, 25 â who sprayed the words âscumbagâ and âcheatâ on the rugby league playerâs home and pink Mercedes earlier this year â told WalesOnline she has decided to take Powell back and that things had been going âokayishâ so far.
Pregnant Natasha says the former Wigan Warriors man is excited over the birth of their first child after she suffered three agonising miscarriages in less than a year.
She said: âAfter the whole thing with the press last time he was ringing me and texting me and I ignored it. I miscarried for the third time (at the beginning of April).
âA few weeks after we thought, âWeâll put everything behind us and move forwardâ. It took me a while to accept because I was still really angry.

âHe said he would do various things to make it up to me and weâd get back on track and see each other here and there and now Iâm pregnant again.â
But Natasha said the 32-year-old rugby star has been busy ânetworkingâ either at âone end of the country or the otherâ and she has not seen as much of him as she would like.
Natasha and Powell got married after a whirlwind romance â they met in March 2012 and were engaged by June.
She said she had been in a four-year relationship before they met and was looking for someone âa bit spontaneous, crazy and wildâ.
Natashaâs sister Nadia tweeted Powell, who replied asking for her number. She said the first year of their lives together had been blissful.
They were married in the church next to Natashaâs family home in Llantristant, Usk, in May last year and then flew out to Majorca with a hundred family friends for a blessing ceremony.
But their marriage broke down in March when Natasha accused Powell of cheating on her in March after she received a message via Facebook.

âWhen I sent him that message he never acknowledged it,â she said. âHe never said anything and just kept ignoring it and thatâs when I got angry and vandalised his car.â
Natasha put up the pairâs wedding memorabilia and Powellâs rugby playing kit for sale on eBay, saying all the money raised would be going to Womenâs Aid and the Samaritans.
And she said she had a mini-celebration with her sister as she burned Powellâs clothes.
In response, Powell said he âhatedâ her and âcould never forgive herâ.
The break-up saw her post what she called âpretty scummyâ sexually explicit texts she had received from Powell on her Twitter feed.
Natasha, who claims Powell âwasnât there for me when I really needed himâ during her three previous pregnancies, said she posted the messages so he would know better than to send any more explicit texts.
Powell later said he sent the texts because he had âthe morning hornâ.
He said: âI gave her the dirty talk. It wasnât much worse than what anyone else would give.â
Now six weeks into her pregnancy, Natasha says she feels âextremely stressed and nervousâ over her latest attempt to have a baby.
Her anxiety is heightened by the uncertainty surrounding Powellâs future playing career, she says.
Powell has had a series of problems off the field. He left top side Wasps after a bar brawl in 2010 during which he was knocked unconscious.
He was arrested in 2011 for driving on the hard shoulder of the M4 in a golf buggy.
His move from rugby union to rugby league ended after just five games for Wigan Warriors when he picked up a neck injury.
Office worker Natasha, who is currently living at home with her parents in Monmouthshire, added: âHeâs able to go on all these trips around the country while Iâm at home stressing and worried and feeling really anxious. Iâm just hanging onto his word all the time.â
But Natasha is hoping that Powell will be able to put his demons behind him.
She said: âUnless he was to get his career back on track â or some kind of job â I think heâs always going to be distracted. He knows a lot of people, he likes to socialise.â
She admits she still has âtrust issuesâ with Powell, but insists he has never been attracted to rugby groupies throwing themselves at him.
âI have heard from a few good friends that heâs had women sitting on his lap and heâs been pushing them away. Heâll even leave a club, because heâs never liked women pestering him.
âIf he was to react back on that and I found out about that then obviously I would be concerned.â
Wales on Sunday contacted Andy Powell but he didnât respond to our messages.
