Bulls in a fight! Relegation battle looms for Bradford

In the disastrous licencing era, matches down at the bottom rarely stirred the blood.

Even players in struggling teams have admitted their minds sometimes strayed to the beach far earlier than they should have done.

But, with the welcome return of relegation, this year is different – and it won’t get much tastier than this Sunday.

The clash between Bradford in 13th and Wakefield in 12th certainly won’t be for the feint-hearted.

Three days later the Bulls will hear whether their appeal against their six-point deduction for going into administration has succeeded.

If it is, or even if they get some of the points returned, all hell will break loose from some rivals, particularly Wakefield.

Wildcats avoided going into administration over the winter by ripping their team apart and flogging several senior players.
