Bath Rugby winger Semesa Rokoduguni will earn his first senior England appearance on Sunday after being named in the XV to face the Barbarians at Twickenham.

Jonathan Joseph starts at outside centre, while Bath Academy player Ollie Devoto is also in line for his senior international bow and is selected amongst the replacements.

RFU head of international player development Joe Lydon said: “This England squad is full of talent and will make for an entertaining match against a strong Barbarians side with over 700 caps between them.

“We see this match as an important development opportunity for the players and many of them gained valuable experience working with the senior squad and coaches over the last week before they departed for New Zealand. We have seen ten players involved in these Barbarians fixtures over the last two years who have gone on to get caps for England.

“The team are really looking forward to running out and playing in front of the home crowd at Twickenham which has had a fantastic atmosphere this season.”

Fijian-born Rokoduguni has served as a tank soldier with the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards since 2007 and will play in the annual match against the Navy at Twickenham on Saturday.

Earlier this year, 26-year-old Rokoduguni was called up to the Saxons squad after qualifying on residency grounds. His selection made him the first serving soldier to be called up by England since Tim Rodber and Josh Lewsey.

Leicester Tigers second-row Graham Kitchener will captain the England side, which includes players from seven Premiership clubs.

England XV: 15 Elliot Daly (London Wasps), 14 Semesa Rokoduguni (Bath Rugby Army), 13 Jonathan Joseph (Bath Rugby), 12 Sam Hill (Exeter Chiefs), 11 Charlie Sharples (Gloucester Rugby), 10 Henry Slade (Exeter Chiefs), 9 Joe Simpson (London Wasps), 1 Ross Harrison (Sale Sharks), 2 Rob Buchanan (Harlequins), 3 Kyle Sinckler (Harlequins), 4 Michael Paterson (Sale Sharks), 5 Graham Kitchener (Leicester Tigers), 6 Jamie Gibson (Leicester Tigers), 7 Luke Wallace (Harlequins), 8 Dave Ewers (Exeter Chiefs).
