Scotland’s top division of rugby league will be renamed the Deuchars IPA National League, after Scotland Rugby League agreed a new four-year deal with the Caledonian brewery.
The deal will run until 2017 and also includes jersey sponsorship of Scotland’s national team, the continuation of a deal which saw Deuchers’ logos appear on Scotland’s kit at last year’s Rugby League World Cup.
“Rugby League is a growing sport in Scotland and its support will help us raise the profile of our activities both nationally and internationally,” said Ollie Cruickshank, Scotland Rugby League’s performance manager.
