Paula Fitzpatrick has been added to the Ireland team in the only change for Tuesday’s Women’s World Cup pool game against holders New Zealand in France.
The blindside flanker takes over from Siobhan Fleming, who is a replacement for the game in Marcoussis.
Ireland
in their Pool B opener on Friday.
‘We’ve prepared for a tough test, we are focusing on how we are going to play and we have to play as well as we can,” said Irish coach Philip Doyle.
Scrum-half Tania Rosser will win her 50th cap for Ireland as she lines out against her native country.
New Zealand started their defence by hammering Kazakhstan 79-5 and they lead Pool B by a point from Ireland.
