Who is your sporting hero?

Rugby wise, definitely Jason Robinson. I watched him as a kid as there was always a buzz around him. I also loved watching Steven Gerrard for Liverpool.

What would you be if you werenâ€™t a sportsman?

Not a lot, to be honest! I would have liked to have been in sport somewhere, but I probably would have gone to university and then tried to decide from there.

Career highlight?

Hopefully being a Commonwealth athlete! Other than that, making the rugby sevens World Cup final last year was special, as was winning the Wellington sevens.

…and the worst moment?

A shin injury I had around two years ago, and trying to play through it for six months. I wondered in my head: â€˜Whatâ€™s wrong?â€™ and that affected me.

If your house was burning down, what one possession would you save?

Iâ€™m not going to leave my phone in there so itâ€™s going to have to be that. I donâ€™t know what Iâ€™d do without it!

Favourite song?

I quite like Ed Sheeran at the moment but of all time thereâ€™s two: Will Smithâ€™s Gettinâ€™ Jiggy With It and Cold Desert by Kings of Leon.

TV programme you canâ€™t miss?

When I was younger, it would have been Kenan Kel and My Wife and Kids. Even now it would be those two if they were still on! At the moment Iâ€™m watching Dexter, and thatâ€™s pretty good.

Last film you saw?

I watched Men of Honor recently, which is probably my favourite film, and I canâ€™t wait to see the new Planet of the Apes.

Which three famous guests would you invite to a dinner party?

Pharrell Williams, Mike Tyson and David Beckham. Pharrell is cool and heâ€™d provide a good soundtrack. Iâ€™ve watched so many documentaries on Tyson and still donâ€™t understand how his head works. And Beckham would definitely get you invited to quite a few cool parties. Heâ€™s a guy who no one dislikes.

Can you cook? Best dish?

Iâ€™ve just started to cook but I wouldnâ€™t say Iâ€™m anywhere near a master chef yet! Though I made a good Thai curry the other day.

Favourite holiday destination?

Once Iâ€™ve seen somewhere, I like to go somewhere else instead of going back. But I went to Thailand last summer and that was a very cool trip. After the Commonwealths Iâ€™m going to Egypt.

In a film of your life, who would you like to play you?

Either Jamie Foxx or Will Smith to play me, though Iâ€™d have to find someone uglier to play my brother (England rugby union international, Anthony). I wouldnâ€™t mind doing the stunts though!

I loved football when I was young and I had a book of the top 15 players in the world. I knew all of the playersâ€™ birthdays. I guess thatâ€™s quite embarrassing but I used to be a crazy football fan.
