England brilliantly beat Wales with the last play of the game to take the plate trophy in the Commonwealth Games rugby sevens.
It looked as if Wales had won the plate final but Daniel Bibby went over in the corner for his second try to give England the tournament’s second tier prize.
South Africa claimed the gold medal after beating New Zealand 17-12 in the main competition’s final. Australia completed a comprehensive 24-0 victory over Samoa to win bronze.
