With Schmidt naming only four props, it is likely that Moore, 22, will make
his debut from the bench in the Six Nations opener against Scotland at the
Aviva Stadium on Sunday, with Cian Healy and Mike Ross set to start.
Other forwards to be left out are the Munster duo of David Kilcoyne and
Stephen Archer, Connachtâs Rodney Ah You, Damian Varley and Rob Herring and
the Ulster flanker Robbie Diack.
Ian Keatley returns to Munster, while the other backs to miss out are
scrum-halves Isaac Boss and Kieran Marmion.
Meanwhile the Irish Rugby Football Union has received a major boost ahead of
the start of the championship by signing a âmulti-million euroâ sponsorship
deal with Canterbury.
Canterbury will take over from Puma as Irelandâs shirt sponsors in September.
Puma announced last January that they were to cut short their eight-year
agreement with the IRFU midway through the deal as part of a global exit
strategy from the rugby market.
The new deal will cover two World Cups and run up to 2020.
London Irish have confirmed the signing of Ireland and Lions prop Tom Court
from Ulster.
Court, 33, who has won 32 caps for Ireland, will move to the Premiership club
next season in a three-year deal.
