The Cornish Pirates have confirmed that Ian Davies has been appointed as their Director of Rugby to the end of the 2015/16 season.
Davies joined the club as Forwards Coach in 2009 and later became Head Coach following the departure of High Performance Manager Chris Stirling.
During his time with the Cornish Pirates Ian has been an influential figure in the club’s success, and helped coach the RFU Championship XV that faced the Maori All Blacks last season.
More recently he coached the Barbarians team that played a Remembrance Rugby Day fixture against the Combined Services.
