England Rugby League coach Steve McNamara will be inspiring visitors to a conference in Pocklington next Monday about the future of learning and education.
Steve headlines a packed programme of inspirational speakers set to talk at the TEDxPocklington conference at Pocklington School.
Being held from 8.30am-4.30pm, the event will also feature speakers from organisations including Relate, the NHS, leading schools and innovative businesses.
A spokesperson from TED said: “They will deliver short talks that will challenge our approach to education, learning and leadership, share ideas and knowledge and stimulate conversations that matter.â€
TED started in 1984 as a conference bringing together people from three worlds: technology, entertainment and design.
Since then it has developed into a worldwide community devoted to its mission ‘Ideas Worth Spreading’.
Tickets are limited and priced at £50, which include lunch and refreshments throughout the day.
