The Zambia Rugby Union (ZRU) has appointed Owen Mhango as vice-president following the election of Joseph Silwamba to the National Sports Council of Zambia (NSCZ) board.
Mhango, was until his appointment, ZRU chairperson for competitions.
ZRU head of secretariat Kampata Banda said in a statement released in Kitwe yesterday that the decision to elevate Mhango was made at an executive committee meeting last Saturday in Kabwe.
Banda also said Moono Muleya has been appointed chairperson of competitions.
