Ireland rugby team favourites to win Six Nations title

Following their 29-18 win on Sunday over Wales, England are now second favourites to win the 2014 6 Nations Championship.

With just one round of matches remaining in this year’s tournament, Stuart Lancaster’s squad will face Italy next Saturday whilst current table toppers Ireland face a vital away game to France.

Joe Schmidt’s side have been supported into 19/20 from Evens since their victory over Italy on Saturday to win the Championship in what would be a tremendous end to Brian O’Driscoll’s international rugby career, whilst their opponents, France remain the 33/1 outsiders to win back the trophy having last lifted it in back in 2010.

Liam Glynn, PR Executive at Boylesports said “Ireland still have an excellent chance of winning the 6 Nations but they won’t have an easy task in Paris next Saturday.”

He added “Ireland remain our biggest liabilities as the boys in green have been supported down from 13/2 prior to the tournament  commencing and have even seen further support on Saturdaynight having been supported into 19/20 from Evens.”
