âMy former club Leicester have really got a tough battle to get in that top four and normally youâd say that theyâre going to be a top-four club but this year because of the strength of the competition, with a lot of that coming from the London-based clubs, itâs going to be tough.
âI think Harlequins have got a good squad, a lot of international players and a lot of youth development there, particularly with England bringing them through, but thereâs a question about whether they can make the next step.
âSaracens because of the investment theyâve had year-on-year and the quality of squad theyâve got, theyâre always going to be up there.Â
âAnd if you think of Wasps, in terms of the finance to recruit effectively, they have struggled but theyâll want to put down their marker.
âTheyâre one of those teams that is always going to be mid-ish table but they want to fight to get into the top bit of the table.
âItâs a massive opportunity for everyone tomorrow to put down a marker early in the season and every player will be fighting because they know people look on teams that are winning favourably.â
