Gloucester will finally unveil the signing of James Hook at a press conference in Wales on Tuesday.
The 75-cap international has penned a three-year deal with the Cherry and Whites after activating a release clause in his contract with Perpignan following their relegation from the Top 14.
Confirmation of his signature had been delayed as the club awaited release papers from the Catalan club and by Hook’s involvement in the Welsh camp.
But he will be confirmed as the club’s latest major signing at Wales’ Vale of Glamorgan hotel headquarters on Tuesday afternoon.
