Rugby World Cup 2015 (RWC 2015) tickets will go on sale to the general public next month.
Up to one million tickets will be available to fans across the world, and applications will be opened on September 12 and close on September 29.
Tickets will be priced in four categories for all 48 matches, starting at £15 for adults. Child tickets, priced from £7, will be available for 41 matches. Fans will need to create an account on tickets.rugbyworldcup.com in order to apply, and can apply for up to four tickets per match. For 15 fixtures fans can apply for up to 15 tickets.
Tickets will not be sold on a first come, first served basis, oversubscribed matches and price categories will go to ballot to ensure fair allocation.
The sale will operate on an easy-to-use ticketing platform â tickets.rugbyworldcup.com. A number of tools have been introduced to help fans, including Match Manager allowing fans to limit their spend by submitting an application for several matches but capping the number of matches they can be allocated. Fans can also opt to be allocated tickets at the next highest price category in the event that tickets at their selected category are oversubscribed or unavailable. Use of both tools is optional.
Debbie Jevans, CEO of England Rugby 2015, said: “We are about to embark on an exciting period in the build up to Rugby World Cup 2015, as tickets go on general sale next month. The Tournament is now just over one year away and the rugby world is counting down to Rugby World Cup 2015.
