South Africa 38 Wales 16

  • Lwazi Mvovo runs onto a pass from du Preez and takes on the Welsh defence! He goes over the line but loses possession as he crosses the line. Wales are offside, however, and the Boks take a tap penalty. The ball goes through several phases and Matfield, Beast Mtawarira, de Jager, Schalk Brits, Burger and Vermeulen all handle. They eventually concede possession but Wales also knock on in the process. Referee Romain Poite blows his final whistle to bring proceedings to a close. The Boks are victorious thanks to a superb allround effort. Wales improved as the game progressed but they will have do lots of homework if they want to turn the tables in Nelspruit next weekend.
