Channelling his inner Ian Rush, circa 1980s, the Munster legend is sporting an old Liverpool strip, ‘tache, mullet and shades.
A picture of Paul was posted on Twitter on Saturday night with the caption: “Paul O’Connell on his stag in Lahinch now.”
O’Connell hit Lahinch, Co Clare, for his stag party this weekend.
O’Connell (33) is getting married to fiancee Emily O’Leary in the south of France later this month.
Last week, he told of how himself and his Lions and Ireland team-mate Jonathan Sexton gave each other a “pass” for their respective weddings.
He said they agreed they’d have to miss each other’s nuptials which are squeezed into the tight window between the end of the Lions tour and the start of the domestic rugby season.
Ireland and Leinster star Sexton (28) wed his teenage sweetheart Laura Priestley (28) in Adare, Co Limerick, on Friday.
Meanwhile, O’Connell “can’t wait” until he weds his fiancee, and has been helping with their wedding preparations.
He said that plans were going “very well” and that “I’ve done a good bit. I’ve been slagged that Emily’s doing everything but I have done a good bit”.
