Sunday Express columnist Jones, who was picked by New Zealander Gatland to skipper the side in the crunch Sydney clash following Sam Warburton’s injury, reckons his national team chief can do it all over again with the Lions against the All Blacks in 2017.
Gatland dropped Irish hero Brian O’Driscoll for the decider and Jones said: “It’s funny – before the last game everyone was criticising him, saying that he had done the wrong thing with his selection – now they are touting him for the next one.
