Cherry Blossoms to be Scotland’s first Rugby World Cup group hurdle

Japan have been announced as Scotland’s first group match opponents at next years Rugby World Cup in England. The Brave Blossoms will be up against it after playing the Springboks only four days previously, whilst it will be the Scots’ first run-out of the tournament.

Scotland will also face USA, Samoa and South Africa as they mount their attack on the Webb Ellis Cup. The match will be played on the 29th of September at Kingsholm, home of Gloucester RFC, so it’s not too far to go and back the boys in blue.
