THE England Womenâs Rugby Team visited a Loughborough bingo hall last week.
The squad are currently staying in the town while they train at Loughborough University.
And during some down time, they took a trip to Beacon Bingo in Baxter Gate and even managed to win a few rounds!
Whilst they were there, members of the team also signed a rugby ball for the bingo hall to auction off for charity.
Andrew Collier, manager at Beacon Bingo Loughborough, told the Echo: âIt was a wonderful night and I wanted to say a thank you to the team for helping our charity.â
Money raised from auctioning off the signed rugby ball will be donated to CHIPS (Childrenâs Happiness Involves People).
The charity – which was founded on behalf of the casino and gaming industry – provides wheelchairs for children who would otherwise have no way of getting around on their own.
CHIPS has presented over 400 wheelchairs to youngsters.
