When we say they’ve got beef, we dont mean a Big Mac
The only time youâll find us talking about rugby is when we turn the page on our naked sportsman calendar on the first of each month, OR when a member of One Direction gets sucked into a bit of Twitter argument with one of the players.
This time itâs the latter, as Niall Horan landed himself in a bit of heated lad banter with a couple of rugby players after making a few comments during the 6 Nations. Luckily, one particular Irish player has come to his rescue and promised that heâs âgot his backâ. Crazy mofos.
Weâre not gonna pretend to know what weâre talking about when it comes to the golden game of ruggers, but after his team took a thrashing from Ireland, Welsh player Mike Philips got stuck into a bit of a brawl, and el Horan wasnât too impressed with his behaviour.
Nialler wrote: “Mike Philips is like a child throwing his toys out of the pram! His attitude is terrible, looks like a right arrogant idiot.”
Things then all got a bit heated and testosterone-fuelled when Philips replied: “@NiallOfficial come down to training in the next week big boy. Bring the rest of The Beatles with you.”
To be honest, we saw right through it and recognised it as a plain and simple attempt to meet One Direction, but we were a bit concerned that Niallerâs lovely little blonde head might get used as a practice ball.
However, we donât need to be fretting about his quiff getting all muddy, as well muscly and hard Irish player Rob Kearney stepped in to defend Niall, tweeting: “@mikephilips009 don’t worry @NiallOfficial â I’ve got your back!”
Lads, canât we just resolve this with a good old fashioned naked wrestling match? In a paddling pool full of chocolate sauce, preferably with the rest of the 1D lads coming to Niallâs rescue.
CRIKEY, whaddya think of all this? Should Niall head down with the rest of The Beatles (lol) and show Mike what heâs made of? Arenât boys weird? Comments please.
