Welsh rugby cufflinks stolen in burglary

POLICE are appealing for information after a distinctive and treasured pair of Welsh rugby cufflinks were stolen in a burglary.

The links were presented to the victim’s father when he played for Wales, and carry the famous three feathers badge and the initials “JPE”.

The theft was discovered when the family returned from holiday last week — they found their Miskin house had been ransacked, and the treasured items taken.

Police are appealing for anybody with information on the burglary — or anybody who knows the whereabouts of the cufflinks — to come forward.

A South Wales Police spokesman said: “Police are appealing for information following the theft of a set of distinctive cufflinks during burglary in Miskin.

“The cufflinks are treasured by the owners and they are desperate to get them back.

“Anyone who has seen them, or who thinks they may have been offered them, are urged to contact South Wales Police.”
