Kyle Eastmond is in line for a recall to the England Test side for their final match against New Zealand on Saturday.

The Bath Rugby centre lost his place for the 28-27 defeat in Dunedin at the weekend but ankle injuries to Billy Twelvetrees and Luther Burrell should see him reclaim his place.

Former rugby league international Eastmond has also been omitted from the England squad to face the Crusaders in Tuesday’s tour match, suggesting he will play some part in the Test in Hamilton.

England half-backs Owen Farrell (knee) and Danny Care (shoulder) are also doubtful to face the All Blacks after suffering knocks in the series-deciding loss at the weekend.

Should Farrell be ruled out, former Beechen Cliff schoolboy and Bath Academy player Freddie Burns will come back into the side at fly-half.

England head coach Stuart Lancaster is also set to make changes in the pack, meaning Bath hooker Rob Webber could lose his place to Dylan Hartley.

Bath prop Davey Wilson will retain his place and again start at tighthead for the final match of the tour.
